Jessica
C. Mace (Executive Director) volunteered with Enersol
from January 2002 through January 2004. She shares Enersol’s
strong interest in education, the environment, and community service.
She has worked in a variety of educational settings targeting young
people, including: coordinating enrollment services for American
Cultural Exchange in Seattle, WA; working with high school students
at the National Early Intervention Scholarship and Partnership Program
in Spokane, WA; and delivering the Reading for Dessert Bilingual
Reading Readiness program in Spokane, WA. She holds a BA in Spanish
and Latin American Studies from Gonzaga University. Ms. Mace is
fluent in Spanish.
Linda
Christmas (Financial Manager/Assistant Director)
joined Enersol in March 1998 as accounting associate and is now
responsible for Enersol’s day-to-day financial, fundraising
and outreach operations. She manages the internal financial systems
and assists in overseeing all fundraising and outreach activity.
Ms. Christmas is a graduate of Tewksbury Memorial High School’s
business curriculum, and has extensive accounting and field experience.
Eric Johnson
serves as an advisor to Enersol’s training and water programs. He
began collaborating with Enersol in 1986 on a volunteer basis in the
Dominican Republic, and became Training Coordinator in 1991.
He has considerable experience training Latin American
professionals, technicians, and community leaders in photovoltaic (PV)
technology, rural water delivery and sanitation systems. He has served
as a technical consultant on PV projects and advisor to a small solar
energy business.
Mark Newton
consults for Enersol on project management and renewable energy
issues, and coordinates Enersol’s education initiatives in the Caribbean.
From 1995-1997, Mr. Newton coordinated Enersol’s USAID Rural Electrification
and Potable Water Project.
Mr. Newton has served as Program Associate for Winrock International’s
Clean Energy Group, providing technical support for renewable energy
investment services and public policy development; and is a former
member of the United States Peace Corps.
Mr. Newton earned a Master's degree in International Economics/Energy
and Environment from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International
Studies.
Oscar Erazo Ordóñez
(Program Coordinator) manages Enersol’s projects in Honduras
and arranges partnerships with other Honduran NGOs. He has extensive
experience consulting in health and rural development with such
organizations as the Pan American Health Organization, Inter-American
Development Bank, the United Nations Development Programme. He has
also served as a professor in the sociology department at the National
Autonomous University of Honduras and the National Pedagogical University.
Mr. Erazo He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from
the National Autonomous University of Honduras and a Master’s
degree in Rural Development from the National University in San
Jose, Costa Rica.
